OVERVIEW
Led the complete redesign and build of the public website for Ikebana International Ottawa Centennial Chapter No.120, spanning information architecture, UX design, development, testing, and launch. The project prioritized cultural aesthetics alongside audience accessibility.
The site features a refined, minimalist design inspired by traditional Japanese aesthetics—clean layouts, generous whitespace, and nature-inspired imagery including animated cherry blossom petals. Advanced GSAP animations (SplitText, ScrollTrigger, MorphSVG) create an immersive experience while maintaining performance.
Implemented AI-assisted wireframes and content polishing workflows, cutting iteration time by approximately 28%. Established baseline WCAG 2.2 compliance, SEO optimization, and automated CI/CD pipelines with linting, type checks, and Lighthouse performance gates.
